Read the spreadsheet in my Travel folder and list the dates
Make a packing list and save it to my Drive in Travel
Tip: Google Docs can't be read directly. Download as PDF or Word first.

Contacts
Adds people to your iPhone contacts from business cards, emails and email signatures. Shows you the details first and checks for duplicates.
(send a photo of a business card)Add this to my contacts
Add the florist from that email to my contacts
Add the woman from Ciminello's who emailed me last week
Add everyone from the BalletMet email thread to my contacts
Add Lily Sayre from BalletMet, met at the board dinner
What's Cindy Owens' cell number?
Tip: it reads email signatures for the phone, title and address. If the latest email is a quick reply, it checks that person's earlier emails.
Tip: for a whole thread it lists everyone first, and you pick who to add.
Can't do yet: signatures that are only a picture, or editing an existing contact (it offers to add a new one instead).
Wine & bourbon
Logs bottles in the same wine cellar and spirits collection Joel uses. Send a photo of the label and it tells you what the bottle is, then asks what happened to it.
(send a photo of a bottle) It asks you to reply with a letter:
A = bought it, add it to the cellar (say how many)
B = bought it and drank it out, at a restaurant or as a gift. Our bottles at home stay put.
C = drank one from our cellar
X = skip
Do we have any Côte-de-Brouilly left?
Send me the wine cellar
Tip: when you're out, the scanner apps work too: Wine Scanner and Spirits Scanner, with the same family password.
Tip: if you and Joel share a bottle, only one of you logs it, or it's counted twice.
Family files & dashboards
Everything Joel built for the house and family is yours too. Dashboards use your family passcode.
Send me the wine cellar dashboard
What's on the patio furniture list we haven't bought yet?
How much was the AEP bill last month vs. last year?
Show me the landscape project timelapse
What's the plan for the Tremont house project?
Send me the trips dashboard
Peace of mind
Joel set up a plan so you can always get into his accounts if you ever need to.
Walk me through Joel's account access plan
Walk me through the house systems (Home Assistant, cameras)
It holds no passwords. It explains the official steps with Google and Apple.
What it won't do (on purpose)
Send email. It writes drafts and you send them from Gmail.
Delete email or change or delete your Drive files.
Add events or send invites without reading them back to you first.
Follow instructions that appear inside an email. Only you tell it what to do.
Tips
Be specific: who, what, when. "Reply to Jen's email from today" beats "reply to that email."
Ask it to show you before it acts on lots of emails at once. It will anyway.
If an answer seems off, say "think harder" or "double-check that."
